LH Agency Collects 511 Cubic Meters Garbage from Ciliwung River

Jakarta Environment Agency UPK personnel have collected 511 cubic meters garbage from 3 locations on Ciliwung River from Sunday (10/4) until this afternoon.

We anticipate and handle the garbage since yesterday to make sure water flow is clean from garbage

Jakarta Environment Agency Head, Andono Warih conveyed, his side ensured personnel and heavy equipment to be on standby for 24 hours due to high intensity of rain yesterday. Waste handling was carried out at Manggarai Sluice Gate, BKB Season City, and Kampung Melayu Bridge area.

"We anticipate and handle the garbage since yesterday to make sure water flow is clean from garbage. We handle it from three locations and now it has been completed," he said, Monday (10/5).

East Jakarta SDA Personnel Evacuate Residents Affected by Flood

Until this noon, 65 personnel, 6 heavy equipment,and 19 other fleets have transported total 511 cubic meters garbage from three locations.

"We use dump truck with small and huge tipper, large truck (tronton), and carry to transport those garbage with total 26 rit," he mentioned.
